I had a great experience working with Clay. I learned so much about leading with more than what I had before. I became aware of the emotions and feelings and how they were impacting my presence and thoughts about myself. I am now aware of my thinking patterns and emotional triggers so I show up at my best. This work has helped me to delegating more effectively with my team so that I did not have to do it all. This enables me to develop my team and frees me up to do more strategic work on growing my business.
Clay is genuine and real. We developed trust early in my work which enabled me to be more transparent with him. Skills I have improved include: self-awareness, work performance, team effectiveness, my leadership presence, and my communications. Clay has been amazing to work with.
This was my first opportunity to work with a leadership coach. What a positive experience it was working with Clay. I learned so much about myself and this awareness enabled me to see how it impacted my leadership and the decisions I made. I am so much more aware of my physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual domains and how they impact my presence and how I engage with others.
Clay had a calming influence and he quickly gained my trust which enabled me to be fully transparent with him.
I have improved my work performance, the performance of my team, and my overall leadership.
I highly recommend Clay as a leadership coach.
Highly recommend. In one of my first meetings with Clay, I boldly asserted, “yea, yea... I’m aware...” At the same time, I thought, why not give his exercises a try. I was skeptical but open. Now, I’m not quite sure when the shift happened, but his process resulted in a big shift in my awareness, to include myself. A powerful skill in my leadership toolbox. I’m extremely grateful to Clay and his process.
My 12 month journey with Clay was one of the most rewarding experiences I have had in leadership. I am a retired Master Chief from the U.S. Navy and during my 20 year career the Navy sent me to every leadership course that they could have and none of those experiences measured up to the work I did with Clay. Truly understanding how your childhood is the framework of how you lead was enlightening to me. This is also the first time I have ever had a 360 evaluation done on me. As a leader you think you know how your direct reports, peers, and subordinates feel about you. You really don't until you complete this exercise. The 360 was our guide to 2 different action plans that set my leadership career on a different and better path. I trust Clay and I would recommend him to anyone. Thank you Clay for having such an impact not only on my leadership career but my life moving forward.
I had a great experience working with Clay. He helped me develop my self awareness using various instruments and exercises. I found it extremely helpful and it has positively impacted my work performance, interactions with others and my leadership presence.
Clay was not a wishy-washy coach that always said nice things to try to please me. He challenged me and was personally invested in my success and help me be a better version of myself.
I was extremely satisfied working with Clay.
I had the pleasure of working with Clay as an executive coach and the experience exceeded all my expectations. Clay was focused throughout our time together and often reminded me of my original intent to make sure that we stayed true to what my goals were. He was a great accountability partner and never skirted around tough conversations. In our work together, he helped me find a new perceptive on “how I show up” and gave me actionable tools to help me always be in a resourceful state. He is professional, approachable and a great person to work with. I strongly recommend Clay for any level of career or executive coaching.
Clay, Thanks you so much!
I worked with Clay as my Executive Mentor during a year of leadership development with a fellowship I was fortunate to get. The work done with Clay has been transformational for me. Clay is a wonderfully warm person who immediately connects with the person he is working with. His style was perfect for me, as he didn't give me answers, rather he unlocked my inner potential and pushed me to find those answers from within. The result is very powerful. Suddenly I found myself in a much better position, more self assured in a leadership role. In addition, I brought in Clay to work with my leadership team and the results were phenomenal. Clay facilitated a team retreat in October and the team still lives the skills learned at that time. This has made work much more effective and efficient in so many ways.
I learned a great deal working with Clay. The biggest take away was developing my emotional intelligence skill of self awareness. I learned how my behavior impacts others I work with. I also learned the triggers that caused me to show up as a non-resourceful leader. With Clay's help I was also able to develop key self and relationship management skills to adjust my behavior.
My work has enabled me to be more effective with my team and others. It has also greatly improved my presence and my communication with others.
I highly recommend working with Clay.
I started this program with Clay as part of my work training and leadership within the work environment. I can truly say this has been a life changing experience. My profile revealed that I needed to work on some personal issues and I couldn't see how that would help my work and leadership skills but in a very short year, the change has been evident to myself, my family, my personal friends and co workers. This in turn has had a HUGE ripple effect for work and helped me thru a transition time in my career. It has revitalized my love for my job and myself and more importantly Clay has taught me how to coach myself. He has been instrumental at letting me look at myself and how I affect others. I can't recommend him enough. It is rare to find someone who can coach, be an advocate and also help you find for yourself the hard truth when needed.
I began my work with Clay at time of transition at work and at home. The work we did helped me expand my real time attention to how I took in and reacted to my environment and how that influenced what motivated me, how I showed up, and both led and supported team members. The different tools we used were insightful and worked together well to paint a well rounded view of my leadership style and how my strengths /weaknesses were perceived. It was a very valuable experience. Clay was also very flexible regarding how we structured our work together. I highly recommend Clay.
